Dr Pincus has been a paediatrician in Queensland since 1992 and is highly respected by both colleagues and patients as a talented, attentive and caring physician.

Dr Pincus  began his paediatric training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane before completing advanced training at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, The Sydney Children’s Hospital, and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Over the past decade Dr Pincus’ clinical skills have been widely recognized including:

  • Appointment to the National Examination Panel for paediatricians.
  • Appointment to the Clinical Examination Committee of the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
  • Associate Professor - Medicine – Bond Medical School
  • Senior Lecturer – Medicine - Griffith Medical School

Dr Pincus enjoys the continuity of his private practice and he says it is a privilege to be part of his patients’ lives as they grow and develop.

  • Diabetes and Endocrine disorders
  • Neonatology (newborn babies)
  • Neurologic disorders including Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
  • Asthma and respiratory disorders
  • Schooling problems and developmental disorders
  • All aspects of general paediatrics, including children with complicated disorders requiring multidisciplinary management

Dr Pincus is a member of the Medical Advisory and Clinical Review Committees (Pindara Hospital) as well as Chairman of the Perinatal Interest Group.

Other interests:

Sailing, spending time with his wife and four children, hiking, kayaking, cycling and reading.
