Welcome to ACRRM’s eHealth website or Telehealth network and thank you for reviewing ACRRM’s privacy statement.

The eHealth website is an information and communication system designed and owned by ACRRM.

Its purpose is:

  1. To facilitate the efficient management of Telehealth online
  2. Streamline communication within the national advisory group, Telehealth users, vendors and others within the sector

When you visit ACRRM’s eHealth website, the following information will be collected and stored automatically about the visit:

Domain names and IP address:

Our Web server will automatically recognize a visitor's domain name and IP address (an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to a computer when surfing the Web), but not the visitor's e-mail address. The IP address is recognized in order to keep you logged in between your sessions on ACRRM eHealth, provide aggregated anonymous usage statistics, and track errors and assist in alleviating spam/hacking attempts.

E-mail addresses:

ACRRM collects the e-mail addresses, professional roles and organisational affiliation of those who voluntarily subscribe to our forums and those who register in the forums managed via the ACRRM eHealth.

ACRRM will not share e-mail addresses with any external group, except where explicitly stated – such as your contact email address you can optionally provide if you choose to be listed in the provider’s directory.

Other collected information:

ACRRM collects aggregate information on what pages our visitor’s access in order to inform the viability and usefulness of the system.

We also collect information volunteered by members in relation to specific program requirements. Information we collect may be used to notify visitors about updates to our Website and may be used to contact members for customer service purposes.

Some de-identified data will be aggregated for reporting purposes to government organisations as required in accordance with the Telehealth funding reporting requirements (e.g. Number of users, discipline, and location)

ACRRM will not share any personal information about website visitors unless required for law enforcement or otherwise required by law;

Discussion forums and other user-submitted content:

The ACRRM eHealth Discussion forums are intended for specific audiences, however access to these forums allocated on an honour system based on member-provided information.  As such you should treat each forum post and any attachments you upload as though they are publicly available in regards to privacy of information. Any false, malicious and inappropriate content will be deleted without notifying the user. ACRRM retains the right to block users at its discretion if the behaviour of the user is found offensive in any way.
